Backstage: Carolina Herrera Fall 2024
I had the amazing opportunity to work backstage for the Carolina Herrera Fall 2024 show, and it was an experience that will stay with me for years to come.
Crivorot & Scigliano hired me to be their assistant in the NY Fashion Tour program and the energy backstage was electric with hundreds of people working backstage. Seeing their vision, teamwork, and artistry come to life was inspiring.
One of the many surreal moments was seeing two of my favorite models, Irina Shayk and Caroline Trentini in the same space I was in. They looked beautiful in their gowns, and it was amazing to be there as they prepared for the runway. Another amazing moment was being able to see Anna Wintour backstage! Something I will never forget.
Carolina Herrera's Creative Director, Wes Gordon, truly impressed me. He's managed to maintain the brand's core identity while infusing it with a touch of modern freshness. The collection was a perfect embodiment of the Carolina Herrera style – beautiful, bold, and of course, he kept her signature prints.
Everything from the details of the pieces to the overall flow of the show was fantastic. It displayed how much thought and effort poured into every aspect of the production. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to dress two of the models in the show!
This experience will forever be in my memory. It was more than just a fashion show; it was a display of months of dedication and craft, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of it.
It was a dream to be part of the Carolina Herrera team for this show. I can’t wait for New York Fashion Week in September 2024 to see what’s next. What are some of your favorite designers?
