3 tips on how to be a smart bargain shopper

I know you love a bargain, and I do too! Today I will share three quick tips to get the best out of the end-of-season sales:

1. Firstly, open your closet and look carefully at your items before getting anything new. We always think we need more than we do.

2. Your color palette is another critical thing to decide before seasonal shopping. If you have done your color analysis—which I recommend you do—you are one step ahead and already know the best colors that complement your features. When you decide what colors you want to wear throughout the season, it makes it easier to narrow it down, and it feels less overwhelming to deal with all the options in the sale rack. Although you should make sure your chosen colors go well together so you can mix and match your pieces in different ways and wear them over and over.

An excellent way to start coloring your closet is by choosing your neutrals. Burgundy, gray, black, white, brown, navy blue, forest green, and so many other great neutral colors will complement each other beautifully. And after setting your neutral foundation, you can have fun picking a few accent colors to wrap it all together.

3. My last tip is: make a shopping list. Think about it… If you are at the grocery store but don’t have a shopping list, can you randomly grab items from the shelves, throw them all in a pan, and call it dinner? Yes, you may. Will it be yummy?! Maybe, maybe not. That is precisely what happens when you buy the final sale, 70% OFF, without even thinking whether it works with everything else you have. Make a list!

I hope you like these tips and that they help you shop smarter and get more for your buck! Are you a bargain shopper or not so much? Let me know in the comments below!
