Style Shift: Is that possible?

Personal style isn't just a reflection of who you are; your surroundings also influence it.

I believe five key factors shape the way we dress:

  1. our essence

  2. body

  3. lifestyle

  4. preferred colors

  5. our intentions

Recently, while in Brazil, my client Sarah noticed an interesting shift in my style from when I am in the US.

Sarah is spot on – lifestyle significantly impacts how we put together our looks and feel about our choices.

In the tropical vibes of Brazil, surrounded by family and palm trees, my outfits took on a casual, bohemian feel inspired by the warm weather and the bossa nova.

Today, as I prepare for NYFW in the freezing US weather, I feel a fashionista transformation. The Ana in Brazil in January differs from the one in NY in February.

There's even a third Ana in New England – slightly classic, colorful, and modern.

The key takeaway is that adapting your wardrobe to your current environment is okay. What feels right in one place might not be in another.

Choosing an outfit is similar to selecting a meal from a menu – you wouldn't opt for soup on a warm day.

Stay flexible and experimental to discover new possibilities and enjoy the process!
